Basic Concepts About Cool Motion( 2 )
2. Signs in Cool Motion

The meanings of signs in the Timeline are as follows:

• Motion tweens are represented by two black dots at the beginning and ending keyframes, connected by a solid line during the tweened frames, with the light-purple background.

• A single keyframe is represented by a circlet. Light-gray frames after a single keyframe contain the same content as the keyframe.

• A small "a" indicates that the frame has been assigned an action in the Action panel.

• A waveform indicates the beginning of sounds assigned to frames. The speaker is followed by a straight line, which has an arrow in the end, and the length of which determines how long the sounds will play.

• A frame label is shown in the frame after the keyframe, which has the frame label, in the Timeline. If a film clip contains only one keyframe without any other frames followed, the frame label of that keyframe will not display.
