You may follow the following steps to create this animation:
Step 1. Run Cool Motion, and create a new movie file.
Step 2. Double click on the "Layer 1" on "Timeline panel", rename this layer as "Words" :
Step 3. Click on the Canvas, set the background color as "Black":
Step 4. Choose "Text Tool" in "Tool Panel", type words onto the Canvas, and set the Font-color in the "Properties Panel" as "White":
Step 5. Select the Frame 60 on "words" layer, and right-click to choose "Insert Frame"
Step 6. Insert a Layer on "Timeline Panel", rename it as "SearchLight":
Step 7. Click on the Frame 1 of "SearchLight" layer, choose "Oval Tool" on "Tool Panel", draw a circular on Canvas, now turn to the "Shape Panel" on the right side, set the "Line Width" as "0", the "Fill Style" as "Radial", then you will find an "Shade Gradient Palette" appears below, set color of the leftside as "white", the rightside as "Gray":
Step 8. Click on the circular you have just drawn, Press "Ctrl+C" then "Ctrl+V" to generate another circular, move the second circular to right side of the Stage:
Step9. Right-click on Frame 30 on "SearchLight" layer, choose "Insert Keyframe", move both circular to the center of the Stage until they are overlap with each other:
Step 10. Right-click on Frame 30 on "SearchLight" layer, choose "Insert Keyframe", and move the two circular apart to where they were initially:
Step 11. Right-click on Frame 1 on "SearchLight" layer, choose "Create Motion Tween", repeat this operation again on Frame 30 .
Step 12. On "Timeline Panel", drag "Words" layer over "SearchLight" layer, right-click on "Words" layer to select "Mask", then right-click on "SearchLight" layer, select "Masked". Step 13. Press "Ctrl+S" to save the file, and press "Ctrl+Enter" to see the movie. Finally you can choose"File > Export > Export Movie(SWF)" to export the movie as .swf file.
Step 13. Press "Ctrl+S" to save the file, and press "Ctrl+Enter" to see the movie. Finally you can choose"File > Export > Export Movie(SWF)" to export the movie as .swf file.
